Jonathan P. Phillips, Associate

Jonathan P. Phillips concentrates his practice in civil litigation, corporate law, and commercial law. He is active in all phases of complex corporate and commercial litigation, sophisticated corporate transactions, and general corporate counseling.

Mr. Phillips has represented numerous individuals and national corporate clients in a wide variety of complicated law suits involving breach of contract, breach of warranty, fraud, health care, governmental regulatory matters, and employment issues such as sexual harassment, age discrimination, race discrimination, sex discrimination, disability discrimination. He has litigated cases in the federal and state courts of Pennsylvania as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. He routinely has assisted clients in resolving individual and commercial disputes without resort to litigation through arbitration and alternative dispute resolution forums.

Mr. Phillips joined Roland & Schlegel, P.C. after having been both a member of Williamson, Friedberg & Jones, LLC and in-house attorney providing corporate, commercial, transactional, and litigation services for an international network of corporations.

Mr. Phillips is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, and numerous federal courts at both the trial and appellate level. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar, and the Berks County Bar Association.

Mr. Phillips received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Chicago Law School.
