Jerry R. Richwine primarily concentrates his practice in three areas of the law: condemnation law (eminent domain) representing property owners whose land has been taken by the government; personal injury litigation and as a mediator of civil disputes. He has represented hundreds of clients in the condemnation and personal injury areas. He has also served as an expert witness in the field of legal malpractice.

Mr. Richwine received his undergraduate degree from Grove City College in 1968 and his law degree from Temple University Law School in 1971. From 1971 to 1980, he was employed as an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of Attorney General in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, handling condemnation cases. From 1978 through 1980, he was the Central Region attorney, managing the Trial Staff for Central Pennsylvania in 26 counties while continuing to try condemnation cases. From 1980 through 1999, he was a partner with Rhoda, Stoudt & Bradley in Reading, Pennsylvania, where he was the Supervisor of the Civil Litigation Department. Since 2000, he has been engaged in the practice of law with Roland & Schlegel, P.C.

Mr. Richwine is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Berks County Bar Association, where he has been a member of the Common Pleas Court Rules Committee since 1981, the Chairman in 1984 and a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee since 1997. He has served as a lecturer at the Berks County Bar Association seminars and at the Berks County Bench Bar Conferences. He has served as a Mediator for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and for the Berks County Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Program. He also serves as an arbitrator in uninsured and underinsured motor vehicle personal injury cases.
